To buy any Fixed Income products like bonds, strip bonds, money market instruments, bankers acceptance, or T Bills, please log into your account on the website (not the mobile App) then
- Go to Trade -> Fixed Income
- Select “Fixed Income Module”
- Select BUY to view the entire inventory of bonds. You can further filter by Category, Issuer, Maturity, Yield, or Coupon to help narrow the list
- Click Buy to begin the order
- Enter the face value you wish to buy (minimum $5000 and in increments of $1000)
- Review the order to view the Order Value including commission of minimum $24.99 to a maximum $250
When you Submit the order, we receive your request, review it and our Bond Desk locates the best fair price for the security at that time to execute your order. If the order is filled it will show in your Order Status within the hour. The purchase will show in your account history the next business day. We will contact you if we have any issues processing your order.
Also be aware of HISA or Money Market Mutual Funds as short term alternatives to cash.
