You likely are using a data aggregator website. This means you have given a 3rd party site (one that you trust) your Qtrade username and password, which is not permitted by Qtrade. Some examples:
- Mint.ca
- Hard Bacon
- Fiserv
They gather all your financial info into one website so you can better understand your total financial picture. Unfortunately, Qtrade does not support this 3rd party access. So they are trying to authenticate your account unsuccessfully.
If you are unsure of who you have given your Qtrade login information to, it would be best to change your login password.
